Quick Start · by NorthernRivers.Tech
Quick Start is a free fifteen-minute check-up on how your business or organisation runs. It shows you what's working, and shows us where we can help most.
Free to start. Your answers stay in your browser until you choose to send them.
People usually arrive with a single problem: a CRM to choose, a quoting process that keeps breaking, a grant report that takes weeks. Fair enough. A fix holds better when it fits the organisation around it, so Quick Start looks across the twelve areas every business and community organisation has to run, then goes deeper on the few that matter.
It also shows you what you already own. It's common to be paying for software features that have never been switched on, while the record holding everything together is a spreadsheet one person maintains.
For each of the twelve areas you choose one of five steps, from held together by people up to improving on purpose. Answer for an ordinary week. You don't need the top step everywhere; steady is usually enough for routine work. If you're not sure, leave it and come back.
Rate the twelve areas by how each one runs today, flag the ones causing you grief, and note the tools involved. You get a first read straight away.
We map what to keep, what to set up properly, what's genuinely specialist to you, and where you're different on purpose. It ends with a plan for the first 90 days. Priced to the size of the organisation and the value at stake.
Configuration on the platforms you already have, a proper product selection where you need something specialist, and custom work only where it earns its keep.
Start the check-up now. It saves on your device, so you can stop and come back. When you finish, send it to us or keep it for yourself.
Ask for a conversation and we'll work through the check-up on the call. If you've already run it yourself, include your answers and we'll start from there. We use AI in the room to capture and organise what we hear, so you can watch your picture take shape as we talk.
Area 3 is attracting and acquiring customers. Area 4 is selling and contracting: quotes, terms and the pipeline. Area 6 is supporting and retaining the customers you have.
Area 4 becomes securing funding and agreements: grants, service contracts, memberships and donations. Area 7 covers volunteers as well as paid staff. Area 10 includes safeguarding and your obligations to funders and regulators.
You choose the version that fits at the start of the check-up. If you trade as well as serve a community, choose the community version; it covers both.
Owner-led businesses and community organisations of roughly two to fifty people, paid or volunteer, in any trade or profession. The method is the same for a physiotherapy practice, a builder, a law firm and a food relief charity. What it finds is different every time, because the work is.
In the room you'll see the tools and the AI in use, organising what we hear as we hear it. We understand the work before we recommend an application, and we'll tell you when what you already own will do. We're based in the Northern Rivers, and the work is led by a consultant with more than twenty years advising organisations of every size.
It takes about fifteen minutes and it's free.
