How we handle your information

In plain language, and covering only what happens on this website.

We collect information only when you send it to us

We collect personal information when you give it to us through a form on this site, such as the Contact form or the Quick Start check-up. That can include your name, email address, organisation, phone number, your message, and the answers you give in the check-up.

We use it to reply to you and for nothing else

We use what you send to reply and to contact you about the services you asked about. When you send a Quick Start check-up, we use your answers to prepare for a conversation with you. We do not use your information for any other purpose, and we do not sell it or pass it on for marketing.

What the Quick Start check-up keeps on your device

  • While you complete the check-up on your own, your answers are saved in your browser on your device so you can stop and come back. Nothing is sent to us until you press Send.
  • Your name and contact details are never saved on your device. They are held only while the form is open.
  • Saved answers are cleared when you send the check-up, when you press the button to clear them, or when you clear your browser's site data.
  • If you run the check-up with us on a call, nothing is saved on your device.
  • If you choose to add your saved answers to a message on the Contact page, they are copied into the message box, where you can read and edit them before you send.

Who else handles your information

Forms on this site are delivered to us by Web3Forms, a third-party form service, which passes your message to us by email. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads. These services may handle information outside Australia.

How long we keep it

We delete your message or check-up when you ask us to, or within 12 months of receiving it, whichever comes first. Where you go on to work with us, we keep your information with your project records for as long as that work requires.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact form and tell us what you need. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
